Magic

I got this comment once on a costume I made, Zeb Cook, lead designer on the Planescape campaign setting left this message on this picture of my Lady of Pain costume from 2009:

he said:

"Wow, congratulations! Through the wonders of the internet I learned about your work. You really did justice to the Lady of Pain. (The scooter is a clever solution to her floating not walking.) I wish I could have seen her (you) in action.

David "Zeb" Cook

That comment made me remember why I make costumes and why I like to show my love of the hard work that creative people like us put into games, books, stories, and everything else we touch. Making something real out of nothing is magic, and we have to remember that. That comment still makes me so honored and happy that the person that had a part in creating something I love took joy in my creation. I hope that everything I make in the future can bring a smile to someone, because otherwise it wasn't worth doing.

I'll be updating this as I create more art, so I hope you can all get a bit of joy out of it.

The rest of Crabcat Industries and myself worked crazy hard to get this done, and we were super excited to be on set and pretend we were in the future. Woooo!

Check out some more stills from the set here

That said, I'm sure you'd like to see some behind the scenes pictures.....more to come soon!!
